Charlie,

You're absolutely right! I feel very blessed and proud to own a pair of Gon Bops CA bongos. I can't ask for anything more in terms of sound and it's a real beauty to look at! Yes, I've had them for almost 3 years now. I bought them, thanks to your very positive recommendation. I haven't forgotten that and I still greatly appreciate it!

I'd love to have a pair of those gorgeous Matthew Smith bongos, too, like yours, or a pair of SOS, like vinnieL's! But, for now, I don't feel any need for either one as I don't play bongo parts that much--yet. But, you can almost be sure that, if and when I do feel the need, they'll be either one of the two. Or, even both! :D

All the best bro,

I know this is an old thread but I looked at it recently when I was looking for a bag for my new drums. The main thing that I would like to say, is that I was pleasantly surprised with the Drumseeker when I received it, as the padding is much thicker than the photos on the first page would lead you to believe. Probably not as thick as the Meinl but this will work just fine for my need of local transportation that will be under my own eyes.
