Skyndeeps and trad rims

Postby CongaTick » Fri Aug 06, 2010 5:21 pm

Need a bit of an update though there are a number of older posts about synthetic heads and rims, looking for specifics on: Have an old 70's Fiberglass tumba with trad rims and would like to possibly replace with Skyndeeps. Anybody with experience and/or picture of these heads with trad rim fit? (If I missed an older post in my search that covers this, apologies. )

Skyndeeps are essentially Fiberskyns died to look like the PR flag, tiger, or calfskin pattern.

I haven't seen them with traditional rims but I have seen Fiberskyns with traditional rims... you have to use the tucked heads instead of the "crimplock symmetry" heads and I don't think the Skyndeeps come in tucked.

Beyond that, it's just a sizing issue.
