Michael told me that he put those kind of skins on other Meinls (maybe the same, i don't know) and they sounded great. Rack56, you'll know, don't worry. Haven't heard a drum with a mule skin that sounded bad. If you have old marathons (15 years and more, you are lucky man, quinto from that Meinl era was a ''smooth-talker'' and nice drum to play when I started.
