cuban drum? Couldn't help myself!!!

For 150 I figured it was worth a shot. Doesn't look like the drums I know of but I've been to cuba 2x and there's always some kind of funky drums laying around that somebody made. The seller says she bought the drum in Santiago, the wood definitley looks tropical, kind of looks like the honduran mahogany isla is using, crack looks easy enough to repair. I'll be using it for a group I'll be teaching at school, fix crack, new head, might end up with a gem, you gotta take chances sometimes!

It is a nice looking drum. Easily fixable and a bargain at that price.

Got the drum today , definitely rustic, cuban and made of cedar. It'll require some repair work to fix a cuouple of cracks, but should be a cool piece after that.
