Storing conga - tuned or loose?

Postby groovemanlars » Tue Dec 28, 2010 8:38 pm

I've read quite a few places that it is best to store congas tuned loose... Wondering how important you busy players feel this is. I play LP Classics with the original LP heads. For me, it seems like the tuning process helps me (as a beginner) get to know my drum a bit more each session. Let's hear what you have to say.

I always tune up to play, tune down when done. For practice and gigs.
