For sale: 4 Valje congas, plus bongos, reconditioned

I am trying to figure out a fair asking price...if anyone can offer input I would be appreciative.

Restored by Francisco Ortiz in Oxnard, CA. I was told his father and uncle worked at Valje on Sunset in the 70's-80's.

There is no "fair" price. It's not fair. There is no better deal then to be a buyer of great classic tumbadoras. I know someone who thinks nothing of paying $10,000 for a violin bow. A matched set of Valjes like yours, with a super tumba, is almost impossible to find yet the true value and the going price are way out of line. Plus, conga players tend to not have lots of cash. You might have a hard time finding a buyer for $3000 yet they are really "worth" a lot more.
