LP percussion claw

Does anybody use this? Will it clamp onto a bongo rim?

I have use LP Claw is good, but I do not recommend it on bongos if you will be using it between your legs. It will make the bongos really heavy because it is the clamp, the rod and the mic. All of that is extra weight between your legs. If it is in a stand no problem.

You can attach the LP mic claw to the chair or drum stool you might be using. That is, if you are playing sitting down.

Agree with Tamboricua, best not attached to the drum pick up all the 'other' noises and blow everyones ears when you drop it to start Campana

Yes of course, I was assuming you were using it for a mic.

If I am adding bells, blocks etc and using a stand, I find it best to use a Meinl clamp with a small Pearl multi percussion holder clamped on one of the rods. It is more solid than the claw.

My two thumbs up for the Meinl clamp too, it is really sturdy,
and I like to use it in a percussion setup, especially for a small cowbell.
