Very interesting collection Abakua.

I have few questions about the first set of 3 Candombe drums.

Are the shells Cedar or Pine?

Are the skins Goat?

Are they about 1/3 - 1/2 the weight of a conga?

Is there an Alma?

Hey Jerry,

All 3 are made of Brazlian Pine wood.
Alma in all 3, piano also has a bottom alma.
Skin on Piano is from belly of 'Potro' (young horse), Skins on Chico & Repique are from 'Ternero' (young calf)

All 3 are ultra light, however the Piano does get heavy after marching with it for a while, plus the force with which its played, no tippy tapping allowed.
