Ritmo Boricua ...YES! Caly dosnt make congas.
go to the Bronx, shop and tell him...wow J.c.r congas are dope make me one how much?

...
He will give you the run around....i wanna know what he tells you though Bro, so call him, to find out your self.
As Leedy said sarcasticly, a mixed between Junior and Caly, i dont know what the deal was about that.
Quickly stamping J.C.R on them..Although i love J.C.R products.
Caly is a great metal artesan, and knows what makes a good authentic Boricua drum. The type of woods, herraje, skins, he is a pro, and brought all the elements together for us to enoy awasome instruments. What i can respect about J.C.R percussions is that Caly use to go out of his way, to import the best exotic caribe wood shells, import skins, and put together some of the best bongos, he invested a great deal into importing, the right elements...and then perfect them.
I just respect Junior's great artesan skills, when it comes to shaping a conga the right way. But Caly always stamping his logo on a lot of Junior congas?...
I think Caly got too selfish with that.
Altough some of the newest J.c.r's are not Juniors...There was a Dominican guy who use to work for Caly making congas, bu they donk have the exact Junior shape, curve, inside juniors had a special curved, dent, a bent, that is almost impossible to copy.
I wish Caly, and Isaac would be more open to talk about this, being honest about it..
Junior made the conga, Caly the hardware, but Caly stamped J.C.R all over the hardware on some of Juniors work i mean, alll over!...
and didnt give junior the proper respect, and credit for his work.
