cajon mashup idea

As I was wasting my life today cruising the interweb, I stumbled on meinl's new overpriced cajon oddity [slap top cajon] & Lp's new overpriced cajon oddity [New Latin Percussion LP1436 Laptop Conga].
If you mashed them up you might have an interesting toy. Another project. I think I have enough left over stuff from my conga cajon odyssey to try it for nothing ... or at most for about 20 bucks.
If I actually do it I'll post a picture.

I played these LP product and was very impressed. The 2 different sides produce nice tones.
It takes awhile to get the thing comfortable on your lap, but lightweight, portable, etc.
