Wow! I thank you all for your input or I should say the lack of......

This topic has kind of been done to death....

I think because it's such a personal thing and such a very broad question.

To me it's like someone asking, "What should I get tatooed on my arm?"
or "What colour should I paint my bedroom?"

What I like or what others like will probably not be what you like.

I can easily give you a few ideas (I make a living as an artist and a graphic designer) ...but you probably won't like them.
I'll be upfront and say I would probably never paint anything onto wood congas and would prefer to let the beautiful wood shine through.

Anyway, seeing you asked here's a few ideas:

That is beautiful work! I work at a art museum and I have done some art work but I love music as much as I love graphic art and putting some art on my congas is a way of expressing my love for both.
