Greetings:

This is Dr Alexiev Dubrosky, chief medical officer here in Ft McMurdo Antartica.

I must apologize for one of my patients, Pete Murray, which is an authority in global warming but took a fall on the ice and has been under heavy sedation for the last week.

He has been very delusional and has been knocking on the furniture in the hospital some exotic caribbean rhythms(keeps shouting WA-WA-WAN-KO). At times he has been combative, shouting something about a conga duel at a Taco Bell in Houston, at other times he speaks in french and barks like a poodle dog.

So I gave him 800mg of Percosset and he is sleeping like a baby now.

Let's all wish him well.

Hello fellow congueros!

I don´t know why this whole topic is still carried on. Some prefer calling it "comedian", well, then I´m not up to this kind of caustic, venomous humour. The bad thing is that everyone just hurts the other - THAT´S NOT THE SPIRIT!
Don´t think I´m boring or daft - to me humour only makes sense if you don´t take yourself to seriously, OTHERWISE everything sarcastic falls back on you...
When I´m angry with someone, I always keep the picture in mind that when you point GUN-like at someone (i.e. ridicule, humiliate him or her), then ONE finger points at the other, BUT: THREE fingers point back at YOU...
A Buddhist (which I´m not) could tell you in great detail about this, Pete Murray! Why harming anyone? Life is more beautiful without it.

You might ask: and what about the thumbs in your gun-image?

Just this: THUMBS UP and keep on playing, PLAYING is the real thing, not words!!!!
Peace & drum

"Don't play me Papi"
this guys having fun messing with us. He wants to
push some buttons and annoy. It's a sick activity
and please don't get sucked in any further or he'll
loom around and mess up this great site. I've seen
other sites get destroyed by people like this.

Hello, this is Dr Dubrosky again,

Let's tell the truth:

We discovered Pete Murray in his apartment unconscious, with the air conditioner turn way to cold and he thinks he is in a very cold place, maybe that is why he thinks he is in Antartica.

It is interested that Buddhism is brought in this thread. In Buddhism there are the "three deadly poisons" which are Delusion, Anger and Greed, traits that Mr Murray has shown in his approach to all of this.

The thread was annoying enough but turned into a comedy for a while which was the intented purpose. Since I am Pete's doctor I can revive him and have him rejoin this thread. However, I think he has outlived his purpose here. He may want to join Bush and Kerry in the forthcoming debates, who knows ?

Pete sends his regards to the main contributors to this thread, Rumba808 and Johnny Conga, but most of all to Ivan for his sincere desire to help. This is no bullshit, these guys were right on.

So I will not awaken him from his coma, this is probably the best thing for all concerned. What do you all thnk ?

helle pete, i`ve enjoyed these pages of the discussion, and i actually like your attitude, it`s muy rumbero, you should just go to havana, visit barrio jesus maria, not very far from capitolio, go behind isla de cuba, to the streets factoria or coralles or nearby and ask for his house. but if you dont know some people first it is a chance that someone will mislead you, so i think first og all you should go to cabaret las vegas at saturdays, callejon de hamel, palenke and teatro nacional on sundays, uneac on wednesdays etc. and check out the rumba scene, maybe you could sit in here, its maybe a easier way to check your skills and get a feeling where your level is..

Or more specifically, is there an artic exhibit with "the little ones in tuxedos (if you know what I mean)"???

PM, if you play your congas as good as you made me laugh then you are truly the grand daddy of them all. Man I like how you found your way into this forum; you have managed to infect us with your strange brand of malicious and cynical cold humor. You have managed to turn some icons on their head. Good job!

****ATTENTION - This is the Iraqi Information Minister ****

You thought you will never hear from me again ?

Well, I am pleased to tell you that I just observed Pete Murray conclusively beat Tata Guines in an 8 hour conga duel, it was close but Pete pulled through and sent Tata to his home town of Guiness (where they make all the beer).

Yes, I know, you American infidels thought that Pete had no skills, but I tell you: I wish we had him on our side during the war we decide to temporarily walk out of, Mr Murray has 50 caliber machine gun hands.

Well, got to go, I have a cello lesson to attend

Ta-Ta !
