<<I KNOW OF A GUY WHO'S AN OK PLAYER BUT HAS ABOUT 20 JUNIORS ALONG WITH A BUNCH OF OTHER HIGH END DRUMS. I COULN'T HELP TO THINK (ALONG WITH A LITTLE ENVY

)AS TO WHY.>>
Drum junkies I tell you, LOL! Lots of us do the same thing collect things just because.
I watch this show American Pickers on the history channel and I am amazed how much
stuff some people buy and collect. I mean some times these people have acres full of
barn houses/warehouses full of junk they have bought over the years. That's the way
many of us roll.
<< PERSONALLY WONT SELL MY MOST PRIZED DRUMS. IN MY OPINION, NO ONE WILL APRECIATE THEM MORE THAN I. SO WHAT I'M PLANNING ON DOING IS DONATING MOST, IF NOT ALL (I HAVE OVER 30) OF MY CONGAS TO MUSIC MUSEUMS AROUND NYC AND THE COUNTRY IF POSSIBLE. I BELIEVE THAT'S WORTH MORE THAN ANY MONETARY VALUE THAT CAN BE PUT ON A CONGA NO MATTER WHO MADE IT. I'LL REST ASSURED IN MY GRAVE THAT THEY WENT TO A GOOD CAUSE AND NOT SOME SCHMUCK COLLECTOR WHO DOESN'T PLAY OR APPRECIATE THEM THE WAY A TRUE CONGERO WOULD.>>
I think along the same lines. Sometime I think when the time come to let go of some of
my items to donate some of it to schools, church and other institutions or people that
I feel can put them to good use. Will see, in the mean time I continue on collecting select
items until who knows when. Take Care.
