Newbie says hi - Introduction

Hi, Just found this forum & very interesting it looks too! My name is Al & I am from Scotland. I started playing samba percussion plus congas & bongos etc about 15 years ago & teach workshops in samba in my spare time.

welcome to the forum,It look that Samba is followed in England I have in the percussion-instruction somebody from London,which have been in Samba-School around there.

Hi, yes Samba is big & getting even bigger all over the UK, & Ireland, also the rest of Europe for that matter. A lot of High Schools have now included Samba & Cuban percussion in their music teaching curriculum ... so that`s got to be a good thing!
