I really feel very proud when a Boricua brother gets recognized, specially if I know him. You had been trough tough days lately and those are very good news. I’m very happy for you. That's the way to go, bro!

Hope you are still interested in the project we were talking about :D (just kidding).

Guys, thanks for your kind words! Personally, I am not even half of the percussionist some of those guys in the Pearl Percussion Artist List are! However, I can defend myself...still have long but long way to go...(My friend Tito de Gracia when he congratulate me told me that now is to keep on studying...)(Some people say this business is 50% talent and the other 50% public relations...You could say that is applicable here...).

Changing??? Never...My posts here, and in Pearl's Drummers Forum and even in Remo's, have been to share the little knowledge I have about this craft and my experience. When I "re-started" on this, I had problems finding out about it and having problems finding somebody without an ego to help you. I was lucky, I found some people like Albert Machuca and Tito de Gracia who have helped me a lot... I'll keep on posting here and providing the little I know...I love writing about what I know (If you can tell by my longer than usual posts).

Danny, first thanks for your words....Yes, now more than ever, I'm interested in your project, already trying to get me a set of Pearl Congas and toys to be with you guys...I hope I am up to the challenge you guys offer me...

Saludos!

What kind of agreement do you have with Pearl? Exclusivity? Will they give you the gear for "free" or you have to pay for it?
